Big & Rich’s Big Kenny Donates 140 Guild Acoustic Guitars to Five Schools in Nashville

Big Kenny, of Big & Rich fame, presented 20 of the 140 donated Guild acoustic guitars in person to more than 40 students at Mt. View Elementary School as part of Little Kids Rock. During the presentation, the children performed songs for Big Kenny. Additionally, they engaged in a question and answer session with him and presented him with an award for his generosity and support.

Little Kids Rock is a nationally-recognized nonprofit organization that transforms children’s lives by restoring and revitalizing music education in the nation’s public schools. Over 3,000 students at 36 schools in the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools receive free instruments and lessons from the organization. The program serves tens of thousands of students in ten states. Chapters are found in New York; Chicago; San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland and West Contra Costa County, Calif.; Newark, Trenton and Jersey City, N.J.; Memphis and Nashville, Tenn.; Dallas and Houston; Shreveport, La.; Philadelphia; Atlanta; Tampa, Fla.; and Washington D.C.
