An all-encompassing community and creative arts experience, BamaJam will feature the Rowdy Frynds Tour [with Alabama native Hank Williams, Jr. and Alabama favorite sons, Lynyrd Skynyrd] and ZZ-Top. Alabama’s own Randy Owen will kick off the 2-day/3-night extravaganza on Thursday, June 5. Combining the elements and character of Bonnaroo, Woodstock, Telluride and Country Thunder, the festival will present more than 30 award-winning country, bluegrass, classic rock and alternative acts, performing on three separate stages across 600 acres of rolling countryside. Other artists performing on the country stage include Trace Adkins, Little Big Town, Tracy Lawrence, Miranda Lambert, Darryl Worley, Jason Michael Carroll, Eric Church, James Otto, Ashton Shepherd, Heartland and Rio Grand.
Acts confirmed to date to appear on the alternative stage include Gov’t. Mule, Old Crow Medicine Show, Yonder Mountain String Band, Corey Smith, Nanci Griffith, Keller Williams, Marc Broussard and Zac Brown Band.
“Establishing an entertainment mecca such as BamaJam for our entire community and friends from neighboring states to enjoy has been a life long dream,” said Ronnie Gilley, owner of Ronnie Gilley Properties and Ronnie Gilley Entertainment. “BamaJam is a music and arts festival created to celebrate the human spirit and the spirit of music.”
Situated in Bama Village (BamaJam’s all-inclusive outdoor community plaza), will be Bama Market, Bama Music Lounge, Bama Media Lounge, BamaJam Sponsors Plaza, BamaJam Thrill Zone, and BamaJam Camping Park.
