Alfred Artists Rush Voted “Ferociously Brilliant” Snakes & Arrows Folio Available to Fans Now

June 24, 2008

The 2007 album Snakes & Arrows debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 Charts, no small feat in today’s growing music industry.  At No. 3, the spot was the highest ranking for the band since 1993.  Snakes & Arrows is well-known for the first single off the album, “Far Cry,” as well as the Grammy-nominated song “Malignant Narcissism.”  Following the album’s success, Rush recorded a live performance at the Netherlands’ Ahoy Rotterdam arena during their world tour.  The 2-CD set, Snakes and Arrows Live, debuted this April, combining Snakes & Arrows songs with over a dozen classic hits.
In conjunction with this announcement, Alfred congratulates the band members on their own recent individual accomplishments.  Guitarist Alex Lifeson was honored with Guitar Player’s title as “2007’s Best Rock Guitarist;”  drummer Neil Peart won “2007 Best Rock and Progressive Drummer” in Modern Drummer’s 2008 Readers Poll Awards, and bassist Geddy Lee was honored with Bass Player’s “Best Album for Bass” award in their 2007 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Alfred offers the album-matching folio to Rush: Snakes & Arrows in authentic guitar TAB.  Alfred also provides a number of products for Rush fans worldwide, including the books Rush Guitar Anthology Series, Rush Bass Anthology Series, Drum Techniques of Rush, the sequel More Drum Techniques of Rush, plus Neil Peart’s DVD A Work in Progress.  This June, Alfred will launch two album-matching folios to Moving Pictures featuring guitar TAB and drum transcription.
