He is an amazing player. He may do some tuning tricks with the tuner, but on this song he is doing a behind the nut bend at 1:15. You can see him going for it just as his left hand goes off camera. He warns though, if you try this make sure you don't run your finger tip into where your string is cut off. This song is called "Jazz in the box".

Doyle is an amazing guitarist. I'm 53, been playing since I was 9. Played steady in a band for 20yrs. But, work, life & family just seems to take up so much time. But even if I had 10Hrs a day to practice, I don't think I could match Doyle's talent or even come close. I've heard him on the Steve & Jonnie Show many times. And also with his Daughter. He seems to be a great person as well. He is my role model. And,put him and Tommy Emmanuel together!! Sit back and be prepared to be entertained, and if your a guitar player? AMAZED. God Bless you Doyle.( And by the way.) I need to try one of those Taylor short scale signature guitars that you gifted to Steve. As I get older, sounds like the way to go...
