I've known Heaven & Earth guitarist Stuart Smith for years, and I've always admired his melodic sense and tonal craft. He's also a good guy. Hey, when he was playing with the Sweet, he once brought me onstage to play a tune and a solo for a huge beach festival crowd. Still thanking him for that one!
Now, Stuart is doing his own thing with Heaven & Earth, and it's based on all the classic rock music he and his bandmates have always loved, but updated a tad for the ears and sensibilities of today's rock audiences. But don't take my word for it — Stuart and the Heaven & Earth crew have chosen guitarplayer.com to debut the band's brand new video, "I Don't Know What Love Is." It's a pretty major cinematic production that's reminiscent of MTV's glory days when music videos were so over the top. You should also enjoy a good song and some snazzy guitar work from Stuart. Check it out.
