Michael Molenda

An original punk who’s listed in Who's Who in California Rock, Michael is responsible for some (but not all) of the following myths: Launched San Francisco’s first rock and roll multimedia show; published the Bay Area’s first gear newsletter; opened two seminal “S.F. scene” recording studios, has his name imprinted on a plaque hanging at Alcatraz; told Pete Best that Ringo actually was the better Beatle drummer; won the 2003 CMPi Editor of the Year Award; and helped guide GP to a 2003 Maggie Award as Best Music Magazine.
