Schecter's Bernie Corrigan Dies in Accident

imgWe are saddened to learn that Bernie Corrigan, the marketing manager for Schecter Guitars in Burbank, California, passed away August 18, in an auto accident.

Bernie was raised in East Palestine, Ohio, before moving to California in 1992, where he worked for Howard Rosen Music Productions, Guitar Hero, and Line 6 before taking the job with Schecter.

A multi-talented and prolific musician, Bernie wrote original music for TV and movie soundtracks, as well as recording tracks with Oscar and Grammy-winning producer Giorgio Moroder and Grammy-winning songwriter Ben Moody (Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, We Are The Fallen). He also performed with Gretchen Bonaduce's band "Ankhesenamen," with whom he filmed a TV show for Fox Reality entitled "Re-Inventing Bonaduce." 
 
In addition, he gave back to the community by sharing his musical knowledge with students as a guitar, bass, vocal, and percussion teacher.

Bernie is survived by his wife, Beth Lovejoy-Corrigan; a son, Bernard; a daughter, Sarah; his stepmother and stepfather, Peggy and Ronald Caratelli; a sister, Denise Corrigan; a brother, Dennis Bischoff, a step-sister, Emily Marek, three nephews, Denny Bischoff, Cory Andrews, Patrick LaPergola; and two nieces, Bailey and Riley LaPergola.
