When I was being pitched about this instrumental
rock band from Sweden, I was filled with dread.
(Sorry—we get a lot of this stuff.) The first few seconds
soundly disabused me of that notion, however.
These tunes are catchy, hooky, and full of the
cool little sonic surprises that separate great instrumental rock from, well,
most instrumental rock. Guitarists Emil Fredholm and Christian Neppenström
have the riffs, the tones, the layers, the melodies, and the chops to
make these 12 tracks totally addictive. And the chops, which are massive,
never fail to serve the song. Jag älskar det! Plankton.nu.
