Johnny A. will release his third solo effort, Driven, on his own Aglaophone Records label on June 3, 2014. However, he has allowed us to post an edit of his song "Ghost" for the Guitar Player online community.
Driven is Johnny’s most ambitious record to date, and it features ten original songs, as well as a rendition of the Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody.” Of course, his Gibson Signature Edition guitar is featured prominently on Driven.
Driven also marks his debut to engineering, mixing, and producing the entire recording, as well as playing all the instruments, in his home studio, Nirvana Sound.
Wanna hear the results? Here's a preview edit of "Ghost"...
PledgeMusic Campaign for Fans
Johnny also has started a PledgeMusic campaign for anyone who wishes to help market Driven by purchasing various bonus packages.
"My goal is to raise marketing and promotional funds for my album Driven," says Johnny. "Itʼs not enough to just make a good recording. Itʼs pertinent to make both existing and potentially new fans well aware that this album Driven actually exists. I plan to use the funds raised by this effort to hire a professional publicist and to also place advertisements in both print and web based locations for the purpose of creating awareness for the album."
Fans can purchase everything from autographed copies of Driven
, to a guitar chat/session via Skype, to even a personal house concert by Johnny. To help the cause, please visit Johnny's PledgeMusic site here
