KNOBS Volume, Mids, Fuzz

SOUNDS This is a sweet-sounding fuzz with lots of output and super-quiet operation. The Mids control radically ups the flexibility quotient and can give your tone righteous thump and make it jump to the front of a loud mix. It’s dynamic, touch sensitive, and built like a tank. My favorite setting was Mids and Fuzz nearly cranked and then riding my guitar’s volume control. The way notes decay with the ’70 is so smooth that it’s truly remarkable, with no expectoration or crackling whatsoever.

WHO’S IT FOR? Anyone who loves the old-school Fuzz Face kind of sound, but always wanted more tonal control and beefier construction.
