Blackstar Amplification USA announces the start of their "I'm a Blackstar Rockstar" HT Venue Series contest. It offers musicians in the US a chance to be featured in an ad campaign as the next Blackstar rock star, as well as some gear prizes.

The contest runs from March 1, 2013 through March 31, 2013. Five winners will be featured in an upcoming Blackstar Amplification ad campaign and will receive a Blackstar ID:15 amplifier (MSRP Value of $419.99). Ten runners up will each receive a Korg Pitchblack Poly Tuner.

To enter, contestants need to simply take a photo of themselves with Blackstar's HT Venue Series in their own "venue" (Ex: at home, on stage, in their rehearsal studio, while recording, on the road, etc) and upload their photo to Instagram using the hashtag #blackstarrockstar. The photo must also include a short quote/testimonial about why they love their Blackstar Venue amp for their style of music.
