Greg “Garbo” Garbowsky, bass guitarist for the Jonas Brothers, will attend the Los Angeles Police and Fire Department’s (LAPD/LAFD) St. Baldrick’s head-shaving event on March 20 in Panorama City, Calif. Garbo learned about St. Baldrick’s in 2009 after his father braved a shave at an event in honor of a family friend currently battling cancer. He is excited to attend his first-ever St. Baldrick’s event, and to be an honorary celebrity barber – helping the many brave civic heroes get bald and become heroes for kids with cancer!

Garbo will also be signing autographs on St. Baldrick’s collateral, in exchange for donations to the Foundation.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for childhood cancer research by hosting worldwide head-shaving events where shavees get bald to stand in solidarity with kids who typically lose their hair during cancer treatments.
The media is invited to attend the very visual head-shaving event and to interview Garbo about his support for St. Baldrick’s to conquer kids’ cancer. For more information about St. Baldrick’s please visit www.StBaldricks.org .
