Day three of the Montreal Guitar Show was spent mostly in the large
"acoustic" hall again, though I did double-back into the electric hall, and a few side halls.
As noted in my previous
blogs, the Montreal Guitar Show is one of the premier events of it's kind
in the world, with well over 100 of the greatest luthiers from around
the globe being invited to display their works, and lots of fantastic
guitarists performing mini-concerts all day long, and full concerts in
the evening. There are also lectures and workshops held by key people
from throughout the world of guitars.
In addition to taking lots more photos, I took a few "artsy" close-ups, including these:
Carbon-fiber reinforcement is just one aspect of Pete Swanson's unique approach to guitar building Dagmar Guitars.
Tom Ribbecke was unable to attend, but his incredible instruments made his presence felt.
And here are links to the first four batches of photos on the GP Facebook page:
Batch 2 Batch 1 I hope that you have as much fun looking at these photos as I did taking them!
