I arrived at the show later than expected, as my plane was delayed leaving San Francisco due to Air Force 2 and the vice president. We sat on the runway for 45 minutes as Mr. Biden's 21-car motorcade played through.

Once at the show,  I popped in at a H.O.T. Zone panel lead by three Film, Television, and Game music composers, which was part on the ongoing free educational series that runs throughout the show.

From there, I visited Roland/Boss, where lots was going on. In addition to the very cool RC-300 Looper and the GT-100 Amp Effects Processor, they were demoing the VG Guitar System with an all-new version of the Fender Powered by Roland Stratocaster.

Other exciting products included the Universal Audio Apollo mic preamp and recording interface, which is a unique hybrid combing analog and digital aspects; a new PSPAudioware analog delay plug-in; and the latest version of the Kemper Profiling Amplifier.

In the evening, I attended the fabulous Takamine 50th Anniversary Party, where the Desert Rose Band (with John Jorgenson and Chris Hillman) performed. Great music, food, wine, and people!

Okay, the show doors are about to open. More later ...
