Here are videos of four more master luthiers who are doing very cool things, shot at the 2011 Montreal Guitar Show (click on the text):

Gordon Branch on his 33 1/3 guitar with what he calls an "Industrial Deco" look, constructed from aluminum tubing, with a neck built of ultra-rare pink ivory wood from South Africa.

Chihoe Hahn, known for his high-test Teles, briefly describes his new Strat-style guitar.

Grant Batson shows two auditorium model guitars without sound holes—a fairly radical concept.

Saul Koll shows his RE and Superior models, along with two Super Glides
.

And in this video Andalusian luthier Luis Feu de Mesquita talks about the historical origins of the guitar, specifically the Stradivarius Baroque guitar, which he has reconstructed with a few practical modifications.

Stay tuned for lots more good stuff from the show, coming soon.

First of all i would like to thank you for the great and informative entry. I have to admit that I have never heard about this information I have noticed many new facts for me. I would like to thank Information Systems Essays for helping me in my studies. Without them, I am nothing. Thanks!
